Visakhapatnam,Oct 24: The government has miserably failed in executing relief and rehabilitation works in the flood affected districts, alleged actor-tuned-politician and Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi on Saturday.The Mega star was in Visakhapatnam to mobilize funds for flood relief victims.Talking to media persons, Chiranjeevi alleged that the massive floods were happened mainly due to the man-made mistake and the government also not responded properly to prevent the damage.He lashed out at the government for failing to appraise the Central team on estimation of damage caused by floods and thereby submitting the report to the Centre.Chiranjeevi said that he has confidence on the capability of Chief Minister K Rosaiah. But he has to follow strict discipline to bring certain matters under control, he said.He reiterated that the ministers and officials are not cooperating with the Chief Minister in implementing welfare schemes and relief works in flood hit areas.Reacting to the comments of Telangana Rashtra Samiti leader K Chandrasekara Rao, the PRP leader said: KCR talks irrelevantly and what he talks we don’t know. There is no need to make any comment on such statements made byKCR, he said.
