Why 'Naayak' Competes With 'Baadshah'?

Young Tiger NTR's 'Baadshah' movie's release date was confirmed as 11th January, 2013 long back. At that time, Ram Charan and VV Vinayak's movie's title was not even confirmed as 'Naayak'. However, all of a sudden, the title of the movie was confirmed as 'Naayak' and the release date of the movie has also been confirmed as Pongal, 2013. 

Why did Ram Charan so hurry to compete with Jr.NTR? Is there any reason behind it to compete with 'Baadshah'? As per the sources, both the movies are being made as mass entertainers. Besides, they are consisting same heroine( Kajal) and the same music director( Thaman). Perhaps, Ram Charan felt that it would be the right time for him to prove that he is powerful hero than Jr.NTR in getting good openings. Well, if this notion is right, Cherry's confidence can be appreciated. However, can he achieve what he is confident of? Or Jr.NTR proves that he the best in getting good openings? Lets wait until Pongal, 2013 to know the answer.
