Arrangements in place for YSRC mega protest in Eluru

The Ysr Congress Party has made large scale arrangements for the two-day protest to be led by party's honorary president YS Vijayamma on the fee reimbursement issue in Eluru.

Former minister P Subhash Chandrabose on Sunday visited Eluru to review the arrangements for the protest. He was accompanied with party’s central governing member YV Subba Reddy.

Talking to media persons later, P Subhash Chandrabose said that former chief minister YS Rajshekhar Reddy has introduced the fee reimbursement scheme to provide better opportunities of higher education to the poor students in the State. However, he said that the present government has been scraping the scheme by pushing the future of lakhs of students into darkness.

Stating that the State Government's attitude has forced the Ysr Congress Party on the protest path, he appealed to the people to participate in a big way to make the protest a grand success.
