The Nellore MP also accused the State Government of having failed to solve the problems being faced by the people in the State. He said that it was the government's negligent attitude that the people were looking for a change in power. He also informed that he has already moved a petition to raise the issue of Tamil Nadu Express fire mishap incident in the Lok Sabha during Zero Hour.

Rajamohan Reddy was administered oath by Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar in Telugu language on the first day of monsoon session of Parliament. Later, he thanked the people of Nellore constituency for his election.
