TDP accuses Kiran, Sabita of ignoring constables' welfare

The Telugu Desam Party on Monday claimed that the Kiran Kumar Reddy Government had no moral right to continue in power.

Talking to media persons here Telugu Desam Party general secretary Varla Ramaiah said that Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and Home Minister P Sabita Indra Reddy have failed to identify and solve the serious problems being faced by different sections of the society, especially the government employees.

Citing an example, Ramaiah said that that the wives of constables were forced to hold protest on roads against the harassment of their commandants due to the negligent attitude of the government. This episode has exposed the lack of understanding between the Home Minister and Chief Minister. Though the TDP during its rule has scrapped the 'Orderly System', the Congress government has revived it, he said.

The TDP leader accused the government of not taking enough measures for the welfare of constables. He demanded that the Chief Minister either solve the problems or submit his resignation.
