CM announces Rs 50 lakh reward to Gagan Narang

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Tuesday announced a reward of Rs 50 lakh to Rifle Shooter Gagan Narang, who won bronze medal in the London Olympics.

The Chief Minister announced this reward when his parents met him at the Secretariat and informed him about his achievement. Congratulating the parents, the Chief Minister lauded his performance in the Olympics. He expressed confidence that Gagan Narang would win lot of medals in other competitions and bring laurels to the State and country.

Reiterating that the government would encourage sports, he said that the government was constructing sports stadia in all mandals to promote rural talent in sports.
