Former PCC President and a senior congress leader K Keshava Rao said that there was nothing wrong in the protest of Rajya Sabha Member V Hanumantha Rao demanding “Medhomadnam” or introspection on issues pertaining to the party and the government. 

Talking to media persons after extending his solidarity with Hanumantha Rao by visiting his protest camp at Gandhi Bhavan here on Saturday, Keshava Rao said that Medhomadnam was not organised for the last two-and-a-half years. In my term as the PCC President, he said, he had organised Medu Madnam with the leaders to discuss issues pertaining to party.

Reacting on the Telangana Issue Keshava Rao said that a favourable announcement would come up in the month of September this year. Discussions, he said, were going on in the centre in this regard and even the ministers at the centre believe that congress party would became stronger after the formation of Telangana State.

Reacting to a report presented by Home Ministry to President on the Telangana issue he said that nothing would happen with such developments since it were the political parties of the State who have to take a final decision on the issue.

Expressing that there was nothing wrong in furnishing a report from Home Ministry to President on Telangana Issue, Keshav Rao hoped that separate State would definitely be formed.
