Congress and YSR Congress are two faces of the same coin: CPI

CPI State Secretary K Narayana on Thursday described the Congress and YSR Congress as two faces of the same coin. He said this has been proved today with the way these parties have participated in the Presidential election.

Talking to media person after taking part in the protest on the government land in Saidapur village of Yadgari mandal in the district, he slammed the State Government for leasing out the government lands to private institutions. Government has showing its inability to distribute a piece of land to poor people but on the other hand it has been leasing out the land to the private parties in a big way, he lamented. He demanded that the government distribute land to the poor people which has been left unused in the State.

Narayana alleged that the government was working against the interest of APGENCO in order to benefit the private institutions. He attributed the present power crises in the State to government's failed policies due to which people, specially farmers and industry workers were facing several problems.

Earlier, CPI activists protested on the 106 acres of government land in Saidapur village and raised party flags.
