The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Monday reserved its decision to July 6 on a petition filed by the Enforcement Directorate seeking permission to question YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The court after hearing the arguments of Enforcement Directorate and Jagan’s counsel reserved its orders to July 6. Earlier, Jaganmohan Reddy’s counsel filed a counter petition in the court opposing the proposed questioning of his client. He argued that his client was no longer the Managing Director or Chairman of Jagathi Publications Limited.
It may be mentioned that the Enforcement Directorate has booked Jagan for violating Foreign Exchange Management Act and Prevention of Money Laundering Act and sought court's permission to question him.
