The CBI Special Court on Wednesday posted the hearing to June 25 on petition filed by the Enforcement Directorate seeking permission to interrogate YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The special court after hearing the arguments of Enforcement Directorate posted the petition to June 25. Meanwhile, the special court gave permission to the Enforcement Directorate to serve notices to Jaganmohan Reddy. However, Jagan's counsel refused to accept the ED notices. Following refusal, the ED sleuths directly moved to the Chanchalguda Centre Jail to serve notices on him.
It may be mentioned that the Enforcement Directorate has booked Jagan under several acts for violating Foreign Exchange rules and for his alleged involvement in hawala transactions.
Meanwhile, the special court on Tuesday permitted the Enforcement Directorate to record statements of Nimmagadda Prasad, IAS officer K V Brahmananda Reddy and B P Acharya in connection with disproportionate assets case.
