Ostracize corrupt politicians, appeals Botsa

Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana on Friday called upon the electorate to ostracize the corrupt people from the society.

Addressing an election rally in East Godavari district, Botsa Satyanarayana said that the electorates have to teach a fitting lesson to the corrupt by rejecting them in the elections as they were trying to influence the judiciary and law making bodies with their money power and debasing the values in the politics. Without taking the name of YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said some politicians were trying to gain people's sympathy after they were arrested for allegedly indulging in corruption.

Responding to some Congress MLAs openly expressing solidarity to YSR Congress party honorary president Y S Vijayamma in the by-elections, the PCC president warned that the High Command would initiate serious disciplinary action against them at an appropriate time and take steps to ensure that such practices do not recur.
