Telugu Desam has become an outdated Party as its leader N Chandrababu Naidu had gone senile and is articulating bundle to lies against Jagan Mohan Reddy instead of saving his own flock which is leaving him, YSR Congress Party has said.
“Youth are with YS Jagan and the Tdp leader is upset as his own flock is slipping out of his party. He has been telling blatant lies and distorting YSR’s remarks in the assembly which is unbecoming of his age and position,” party official spokesperson, Jupudi Prabhakar Rao told reporters here on Saturday.
After singing the corruption and assets tune for some days, he has now changed it to faction politics to slander YSR family. He has picked up some of the remarks made by YSR in assembly session and distorted them to defame YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, but people will not believe as Tdp was rejected earlier in the recent elections and the result will be no better this time, he said.
Chandrababu Naidu has been doing all these gimmicks only to save the party, which is troubled with dissent and groupism. YS Jagan meeting a prominent youth leader in Vijayawada must have added to the frustration of the Tdp leader, but he should remember that youth are behind Jagan and not with Naidu who had become cynical and senile.
The remarks made by YSR in the assembly after the murder of his father YS Raja Reddy, are being distorted and politicised by Naidu.
If what Naidu is telling about the faction part of YS family is true, Naidu as Chief Minister for nine years could not prove a single charge which shows that there is no truth in the allegations, he said.
While Jagan has been with the people all the time, Naidu is confined to press meets and trying to dig up old records and is distorting them beyond comprehension. The Tdp leader trying to tell that Mangali Krishna, convicted in Paritala Ravi case, is a resident of Pulivendula and is close to YSR family will have no buyers. If Krishna is convicted in a murder case how that affects YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, he asked.
There were allegations on Naidu himself in the murder cases of Mallela Babji, Paritala Ravi, Vangveeti Ranga and others including an IAS officer, he said.
N Chandrababu Naidu has been trying to rake up the faction card now but it will not work and he will get a fitting reply from the people in the ensuing by-polls and in the 2014 general elections.
