Union Minister and Congress Party observer Vayalar Ravi on Wednesday said that he would focus his entire attention on improving the prospects of Congress Party in the ensuing by-elections to be held for 18 Assembly constituencies in the State.
Talking to media persons, Vayalar Ravi said that he had asked Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana and Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to coordinate with all party workers and make total efforts towards strengthening party from ground level to win the ensuing by-elections. Apart from this, he appealed to all leaders to sink their differences and focus their energies to ensure victory of party candidates.
Vayalar Ravi said that he would visit Polavaram in West Godavari district and Ramachandrapuram in East Godavari district on April 19. Responding to media reports over the differences between the PCC chief and the Chief Minister, he said that both Botsa Satyanarayana and Kiran Kumar Reddy have admitted that they have no differences on any issue. He expressed confidence that Botsa Satyanarayana and Kiran Kumar Reddy would work together to strengthen the party before the by-elections.
Vayalar Ravi also ruled out the possibilities of Congress Party having alliance with other parties for the by-elections.
