Amalapuram's arrests an eye wash, alleges Gadar

Telangana Praja Front chairman Gadar on Saturday asked the State Government to constitute a high-level committee to probe into the desecration of Dr B R Ambedkar's statues in Amalapuram.

A delegation comprising Gadar, members of OU Students JAC and other intellectuals called upon Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at his chambers in the State Secretariat demanding that the government take steps to avoid incidents in future. Later, talking to reporters Gadar described Saturday's arrest in the case as an eye-wash and demanded a thorough probe should be ordered to unmask the real conspirators.

Gadar also informed that an all-party meeting would be convened on Sunday to discuss the issue and also to find out ways to ensure that such incidents do not recur.
