Cong. welcomes Vijay Sai's arrest

The arrest of Vijay Sai Reddy has evoked positive response from Congress leaders, more so from Rayalaseema.

Health Minister Dr DL Ravindra Reddy on Tuesday welcomed the arrest of Jagathi Publications Vice President and auditor of YSR group of companies, Vijay Sai Reddy.

“CBI should now arrest all those connected with the disproportionate assets case of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy,” he told reporters here.

“The investigation agency arrested Vijay Sai for cooperating with YS Jagan Reddy in accumulating assets through illegal means,” he said. The probing agency should also arrest the remaining accused 70 persons, whose names figured in the report of CBI.

“All the 70 persons have cheated the government and helped Jagan Mohan Reddy in accumulating wealth through illegal methods. The accused have invested in the group of companies established by Jagan,” he said.

Ravindra Reddy is a known rival of YSR family. Minister Shankar Rao and Anam Vivekanand Reddy also welcomed the arrest and sought further action in the case.
