Govt will extend all help for flood victims: KVP

Vijayawada, Oct 9 :

 Late chief minister’s close aide and Rajya Sabha member K V P Ramachandra Rao on Friday said that the government would extend all help for the flood victims. He was in Vijayawada to enquire about the rescue and relief operations taken up by district administration in flood affected areas.  Talking to media persons, he said that the Central government would extend all help for flood victims very soon. He visited flood hit areas – Ranigarithota, Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium, Bishop Hazaraiah High School and enquired the victims about the relief operations taken up the government. When the flood victims complained about callous attitude of officials in taking relief operations, Ramachandra Rao warned of disciplinary action against such officials.

He directed the officials to intensify relief works as water receding in the flood affected areas.  He also told the victims to shift to their homes from rehabilitation centres as surging water receding in flooded areas.
