Jagan afraid of giving info to IT Dept: Varla

Telugu Desam Party senior leader Varla Ramaiah on Friday asked as to why Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was afraid of giving information pertaining to cash and documents found during the searches in the disproportionate assets case being investigated by the CBI to the Income Tax Department of Bangalore.

In a brief interaction with the media persons at NTR Trust Bhavan, Ramaiah said that if Jagan was not involved in any corrupt practices or involved in dubious means of accumulating wealth, then was he afraid of sharing the information on seizures with the IT Department.

Varla pointed out that Jagan filed a petition in the High Court vehemently opposing provision of information about cash and documents to the IT department which were in the possession of the Central Bureau of Investigation.
