The Ysr Congress Party has decided to vote in favour of No Confidence Motion, if moved by the opposition parties in the ensuing session of the Legislative Assembly starting from December 1.
The decision was taken in a crucial meeting presided by Kadapa MP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and attended by 21 MLAs. Later, briefing the media persons, Nellore MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy said that all the MLAs, who have joined the Ysr Congress Party, would support the No Confidence Motion. He said the Ysr Congress Party was not in a position to dethrone the government. Therefore, the party would support any since move that could lead to the fall of government.
Mekapati said that the some more MLAs from the Congress and other parties might join the YSR Congress soon. However, he did not elaborate further on the issue. He said the party discussed various other issues during the eight-hour long meeting.
