Telangana Rashtra Samithi floor leader Etela Rajender on Wednesday demanded the resignation of Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy from her post for slapping Preventive Detention Act on Cheruku Sudhakar, the politburo member of TRS.

Talking to media persons at TRS Legislature Party office, Etela Rajender slammed the State Government for arresting the Telangana leaders for participating in the statehood agitation. He said cases have been booked against the leaders indiscriminately to dilute the agitation. He objected to Sabitha Indra Reddy's silence over the issue although she herself belongs to Telangana region.
