TDP seeks CM's explanation on Polavaram

Telugu Desam Party  on Friday  alleged that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy had awarded Polavaram contract to the SEW Infra company even though it was rejected by a technical committee of the Chief Engineers. 

Talking to media persons, TDP MLAs Tummala Nageswar Rao and A Raventh Reddy stated that the TDP would raise the issue in the State Government in the Assembly over the awarding of the Polavaram tenders to an unqualified and inexperienced company. 

The TDP leaders sought an explanation from the Chief Minister on Polavaram tenders. They also alleged that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders used their proximity with Governor ESL Narasimhan to bag the Polavaram contract. They charged that the TRS has used the Telangana agitation as a tool for commercial gains.
