No work but full pay! This is the latest development in the state. The T employees have finally called off their 42 days old strike. The state government has agreed to all the demands set forth by the employee unions. Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy had earlier threatened that the agitating employees will not get salary as the ‘no work, no pay’ rule will be implemented.

Now CM Kiran Kumar Reddy in his eagerness to put an end to the strike at any cost has agreed to pay full salary for the entire 42 days strike period. This is a goodwill gesture no doubt. But it is very unfair to the other employees who did not participate in the strike. They feel that the government has taken a wrong step and set a bad example. Well, CM Kiran did this not out of any love for the employees but to save his own chair!
