Give 'T' solution, not suggestions: Congress

All India Congress Committee official spokesman Abhishek Singhvi on Monday stated that the high command was seriously studying the report submitted by Congress in-charge of state affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad on the situation in Telangana.

Talking to media persons, Abhishek Singhvi said that the Congress core committee members Pranab Mukherjee and Ghulam Nabi Azad have been making efforts to find a solution on Telangana issue. Admitting that the Telangana issue needs some more time to find solution, he said “it is easy to give suggestions to others without showing permanent solution.”

Singhvi also took serious note on the letter written by Communist Party of India (Marxist) general secretary Prakash Karat to Prime Minister Dr Manmohan singh asking to take a quick decision on Telangana to help resolve the ongoing turmoil. He asked Prakash Karat to have any magic formula to address Telangana problem in a day.

Meanwhile, Communist Party of India secretary general AB Bardhan stated that he would be writing a letter to Prime Minister stating that there was no need to continue consultations on Telangana issue. He said his party was committed towards formation of Telangana state and have extended its total support to Telangana Rashtra Samithi in achieving this goal.

Bardhan made this statement when TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao called on him in New Delhi on Monday seeking his support. He also took serious note on the state government failure to supply adequate power to distressed farmers. He asked the Chief Minister to supply power to farmers by buy purchasing from generating companies at any cost.
