Azad forces Chiru to take a 'U' turn

Chiranjeevi had recently said that he was in favour of Samiakhya Andhra. Within a few days after he uttered these words he has now changed track. Chiru now says that he never uttered these words and he was misquoted by the media. Chiranjeevi’s ‘Samakhya Andhra’ slogan was reported widely in all sections of the media. So he cannot say now that he was misquoted.

The AICC in charge of Andhra Pradesh Ghulam Nabi Azad is reported to have given Chiru a piece of his mind. Telangana demand is a sensitive issue and the region is now tense with the ongoing Sakalajanula Samme. As Chiranjeevi is now a congressman his statement would naturally anger the ‘T’ activists. So Chiranjeevi has now changed tack and claims that he never uttered the word ‘Samaikhya’.
