Cinema actors becoming politicians is a regular phenomenon observed in South film circuit. From NTR, MGR to present age Chiranjeevi and Vijaykanth, there have been numerous examples to quote for both in success and failure cases. Balakrishna is an equivalent to Chiranjeevi in current period of cinema and polity. When Chiru announced his decision to quit films and enter politics, opinions were mixed. Yet, he started PRP and had the share of sorrows to close it in between by merging in Congress.

Situation for Balakrishna is altogether different. Nandamuri followers can’t see BO Bonanza as a normal party worker in TDP or in a sub-ordinate position to Chandrababu Naidu. If Balayya is speaking of contesting the elections in 2014, obviously expectations from Nandamuri Fans will be to see him as a Chief Minister of State and nothing less than that.

Balayya should sketch a rigid plan of action to see what could be the possibilities and what are the areas he needed to concentrate in order to excel as a politician? Else, he could end up with similar fate as Chiranjeevi.
