The Telugu Desam Telangana Forum convener Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Wednesday accused Nagam Janardhan Reddy, who has been suspended by the Telugu Desam party, as being an agent of Y S R Congress Party president Jaganmohan Reddy.
Talking to the media here today, Mr Dayakar Rao said that Janardhan Reddy was thrown out for indulging in anti-party activities and for acting as cohort of the Kadapa Lok Sabha member Jagan. The Forum convener also said that Janardhan Reddy was shedding crocodile tears for Telangana and his agitations for a separate Telangana State stemmed from selfish interests.
Mr Dayakar Rao alleged that it was Nagam who had blocked the formation of Telangana when the party had raised the statehood issue earlier.
In the same vein, he alleged that the Telangana Rashtra Samiti was taking the people for a ride on the Telangana plank as it was not sincere in its efforts.
