Arrest Jagan in mining scam

Senior leader of Telugu Desam Party Dadi Veerabhadra Rao on Monday demanded that the YSR Congress party president Jaganmohan Reddy be arrested for colluding with Karnataka Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy, who was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation in the multi-crore mining scam.

Talking to media persons, Veerabhadra Rao alleged that Jaganmohan Reddy had business links with Gali Brothers in the mining at Obulapuram in Anantapur district.  He alleged that Jaganmohan Reddy was receiving 50 percent of mining money as investments in his firms in the name of a fictitious company established by Gali Brothers.

Demanding stringent punishment for those indulged in illegal mining of country’s valuable resources, Veerabhadra Rao opined that the guilty be awarded capital punishment. He said Gali Janardhan Reddy’s arrest would send a stern warning to those involved in illegal mining across the country.
