Nalgonda Congress Mp Gutta Sukhender Reddy on Tuesday suggested the Telugu Desam Telangana Forum members to get a letter from their party president N Chandrababu Naidu favouring Telangana state formation.
Talking to media persons at Telangana Congress Steering Committee convener K Jana Reddy residence, Gutta Sukhender Reddy said the letter of TDP president to Union Home Minister P Chidambaram was needed stating that he had no objection to the bifurcation of state. If the Forum members fail to get it, he advised them to come out of TDP to prove their commitment towards Telangana state formation.
The Congress MP asking Naidu letter’s for T state assumes significance in the wake of forum members demanding en masse resignations. The MP said that the Congress members from the region were ready to sacrifice anything including their party. Stating that the Consulting process started by Congress in-charge of AP Affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad would be completed by September 17, he said that Telangana Congress members would chalk out future course once the process ends.
