Responding to the resignation of Congress MLAs for the sake of Jaganmohan Reddy, Naidu said it is shameful to submit resignations for a corrupt person against whom CBI conducted raids in connection with disproportionate wealth case. Naidu alleged the Congress MLAs were just trying to gain political mileage. He said the resignations were a challenge to the probe ordered by the High Court itself. “It is nothing but contempt of court," he stated. He also blamed the Congress High Command for the political crisis in the state.

Replying to Emaar properties issue, Naidu charged that former chief minister YSR resorted to irregularities and allotted lands to protect self interests causing huge loss to state's  exchequer. He said that he was ready for open debate on Emaar Properties at any time and at any place.

Stating that Chief Minister N Kiran kumar reddy has lost people’s confidence and totally failed on all fronts, he said that the TDP was ready for mid-term polls at any time in the event of fall of government.
