The City police on Friday arrested former Tirupati Urban Development Authority chairman and YSR Congress party leader Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy for staging a dharna in front of Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s Camp Office.

Source says that Bhaskar Reddy was upset for not getting an appointment with the Chief Minister.  In protest, he staged a dharna in front of Camp Office. When Bhaskar Reddy came to meet along with delegation, the security officials at Chief Minister’s camp office did not allow him to meet Chief Minister.

Protesting against the police attitude of officials in not allowing him to meet the Chief Minister, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy staged a dharna in front of Chief Minister’s camp office.

Sensing trouble, the camp office security informed to police. The Punjagutta police came to spot and lifted Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy to the police station.

Meanwhile, the YSR Jagan group supporters led by former minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, MLC Jupudi Prabhakar Rao and MLA Shobha Nagireddy went to Chief Minister’s camp office seeking a Central Bureau of Investigation probe into those ministers who enjoyed power along with the of former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

Submitting a memorandum to Chief Minister in this regard, Balineni Srinivasa Reddy said the Cabinet Ministers were also held responsible for decisions taken druinng YSR’sr regime. “The probe against ministers will prove that who were involved in corruption charges and behind former chief minister’s decisions,” he stated.
