The Telugu Desam party chief N Chandrababu Naidu said that his word on Telangana was final his party has already made its stand clear long ago and there was no need to announce it afresh.
Talking to media persons at NTR Trust Bhavan on Friday Naidu said that the Centre has to take a final decision on Telangana, and added, “It is the responsibility of Centre to take early decision on it and put an end to the uncertainty in the state.”
Naidu’s statement assumes importance in the wake of TDP politburo member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu stating that Seemandhra party leaders oppose division of the state and they were in favour of integrated state.
The TDP chief also criticised the Centre for blaming opposition parties in the state for not reaching at `consensus’ and `unanimity’ on the formation of separate statehood and asked the centre not to link other parties for the delay in the Telangana state formation.
