3 Options on Telangana

The intensity of Telangana issue is increased and the time has ripened for Government to take up Telangana issue seriously. Political sources in market say that after today’s Cabinet reshuffle, Telangana issue could be accorded top priority. As per Congress, there are three options to be floated.

1. Discussion of a time bound solution to the long pending issue.

2. Keeping the inclusion of Hyderabad in Telangana ‘Open’.

3. Forming a State Re-Organization Commission.

As Monsoon session of Parliament to start from August 1, T matter could become serious if Government fails to come out with some solution. Congress Party Spokesman, Mr Abhishek Singhvi said, ‘The only option is balance, patience and not queering the pitch by provocative statements either from this podium or from your fraternity. We are aware that the atmosphere is surcharged. We understand the emotions.’
