Telangana People’s Front president and Balladeer Gaddar on Thursday said that his outfit would approach Ministers Danam Nagender and Mukesh Goud, besides the AIMIM and seek their support for separate Telangana agitation.
Talking to media persons at the Gun Park after expressing solidarity with the bus Yatra taken out by members of the Telugu Desam Party Telangana Forum, Gaddar revealed that his outfit’s leaders would approach Labour Minister Danam Nagender and Minister for Marketing and Warehousing Mukesh Goud, apart from the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen president Asaduddin Owaisi and seek their support for the separate statehood demand. Gaddar also disclosed that all Legislators who have resigned have been invited to attend the all-party meeting called for July 8 by him. The TPF chief added that the future course of action to push forward the separate statehood demand will be discussed at the meeting. He also demanded that the Centre stand by the December 9, 2009 statement of Union home Minister P Chidambaram and announce the formation of Telangana state. Gaddar also condemned the arrest of journalists from Telangana and demanded their immediate release. Telangana United Front chief Vimalakka, TDP Telangana Forum convenor Errabelli Dayakar Rao and others were also present.
