Suspended Telugu Desam Party leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Thursday cautioned the TDP Telangana Forum leaders that their Bus Yatra, scheduled to be taken out in the Telangana region, would be counterproductive if they use photographs of the party president N Chandrababu Naidu during the awareness tour.

“Do not venture in Telangana districts with Mr Chandrababu Naidu’s photographs,” Mr Janardhan Reddy advised the TD Telangana Forum members. He said that the people of the region would not believe the TDP Telangana Forum members if they indeed display their party chief’s photographs during the bus tour.

“As a precautionary measure, Mr Naidu should write a letter saying that he has no objections to a separate Telangana state and the TDP Telangana Forum members should paste it on the bus so that they can escape the wrath of the people,” the suspended TDP leader said before media persons at the Assembly Media Point.

He added that such a letter written by Mr Naidu would clear misconceptions in the minds of people of the region that the TDP is not against a separate Telangana state.

Mr Janardhan Reddy also advised the TDP Forum members to complain to Mr Naidu against Payyavula Keshav, Kodela Shiva Prasad and Devineni Uma for staging artificial agitation opposing the bifurcation of state.

He also advised the TDP Forum members to stop the artificial agitations and seek action against them by the party chief.

Responding on those Legislators who have not submitted their resignations, Mr Janardhan Reddy said the people of region would teach a fitting lesson to them soon.

He also appealed to MIM and CPI (M) to make their stand clear on Telangana and express their solidarity with the agitation.
