“Some district leaders were joining Mr Jaganmohan Reddy after witnessing his thumping win in the by-elections despite deploying of large number of Ministers for campaigning,” he admitted.
“However some leaders are continuing on in the Congress to complete their pending works through government and to enjoy Ministers’ posts,” the former minister stated.
Admitting that some section of Congress leaders in Anantapur district are supporting the Jagan’s Odarpu yatra, he said “I am a loyal Congress worker and never cooperate with him”.
When asked whether he would join the YSR Congress Party since his services are not recognised in the party, Mr Diwakar Reddy avoided answering by laughing off the question.
He added that he would represent the opinion of Seemandhra leaders on the contentious issue of bifurcation before the High Command.
