Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was quite prepared to take action against those indulging in illegal or unauthorised mining.
Taking a step further to stall unauthorized and illegal mining the government has asked the Girijans in the agency areas to inform the officials about the unauthorised occupation and unauthorized operations of government mines and deposits.
The government is moving towards the direction to safeguard the interests of the people and some forces unable to bear the government’s steps were trying to create violence.
Tribal Welfare Minister Pasupuleti Balaraju has asked all concerned to assess the situation and take into the conspiracy of the forces who were trying to divert the attention from their illegal mining activities.
The Minister also made it clear before media persons at the Secretariat that the government will not spare any one indulging in such illegal activities.
It was also made clear that in case of any omissions or lapses occurred in the past the government would retrieve the situation and the Chief Minister was ready to initiate action against them.
As part of their scheme Girijans were being roped in to be part of illegal mining. Therefore it was the duty of the Girijans to be cautious and bring such activities to the notice of the government and extend their cooperation to the state administration, the Minister appealed.
