“The party has already extended support for Telangana statehood demand in its party manifesto during the 2009 elections. The Sadhana Yatra is part of the party’s stand on Telangana. The Yatra is an attempt to strengthen the Telangana agitation, Mr Janardhan Reddy said.

The senior MLA stated the yatra is aimed to extend moral support to youth, students and Telangana activists, who are participating in the statehood agitation.

Stating the Sadhana Yatra is a platform for leaders of all political parties to come together, he appealed to all party leaders to sink their differences and unite in their efforts towards achieving the separate statehood.

“The main agenda in Sadhana Yatra is to boost the morale of the youth and how to fulfill the aspirations and sentiments of Telangana people” Mr Janardhan Reddy stated.
