Governor Esl Narasimhan expressed anguish and dismay at the sad demise of Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu, who was killed in an air-crash at Lobothang, near Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh.
The Governor said that he was deeply pained to hear the untimely death of the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
In his condolence message, the Governor described Dorjee Khandu as a great leader and an able administrator who has dedicated his life to the cause of improving the quality of lives of the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Pradesh Congress Committee Chief D Srinivas have also expressed their grief at the untimely demise of Mr Dorjee Khandu.
Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday also expressed his shock and grief over the unfortunate death of Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu.
In a statement, the former chief minister expressed condolence over the death of Mr Dorjee Khandu, who went on missing since last Saturday and breathed his last in unfortunate helicopter mishap due to bad weather condition.
The TDP chief said that everyone had wished for the safe return of mr Dorjee Khandu, but these desires were unfulfilled.
Mr Naidu also consoled the family members of four other officials who were killed in the helicopter mishap.
