Earlier, Mr Janardhan Reddy had called on Mr Manohar and requested him to bring a Privilege Motion against the Srikrishna Committee members by saying that the Panel Report, especially the eighth chapter of the Report, was an attempt to deny the Legislators from Telangana their rights.

In response, Mr Manohar told the TDP leader that that it would be better to take decision on bringing in a Privilege Motion against the Srikrishna Committee members after studying the High Court’s order thoroughly.

Speaking to media persons later at the Assembly Media Point, Mr Janardhan Reddy said that he had requested Mr Manohar find out on whose orders had the Srikrishna Committee submitted a Report which was so much against Telangana interests.

The senior TDP leader said that the report had even suggested measures to the Centre on how to manipulate public opinion by using the media and had also suggested the usage of weapons against anyone protesting for Telangana.

“The eighth chapter of the Srikrishna Report went to such lengths against the formation of a separate state that it even offered suggestions on the weapons to be used against pro-Telangana demonstrators,” said Mr Janardhan Reddy.
