Get 3 suspended party MLAs dismissed first: Errabelli to TRS

Telangana Telugu Desam Party Forum member and MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Friday charged the Telangana Rashtra Samithi of politicizing the delay in the acceptance of TDP Banswada MLA Pocharam Srnivas’ resignation.

Talking to media persons at Telugu Desam Legislature Party Office, Mr Dayakar Rao said that the TRS was trying to derive political mileage behind the delay and was targeting the TDP to score political brownie points.

He said that instead of making baseless allegations that the TDP was colluding with the Congress and delaying the acceptance of the Banswada MLA’s resignation, the TRS should first appeal to the Deputy Speaker to dismiss its three MLAs, K Vidyasagar Rao, Y Ravinder Reddy and Kaveti Samaiah who are already suspended for cross-voting during the Council elections.

Mr Dayakar Rao further added that the TRS was trying to corner the TDP by accusing it of everything which does not go in its favour. “Why is the TRS blaming the TDP for the delay by Deputy Speaker Nadendla Manohar in accepting Mr Pocharam Srinivas’ resignation?,” questioned the Mr Dayakar Rao.

The TDP leader also appealed to the Deputy Speaker to act against Mr Srinivas under the anti-defection law.
