Sonia to KCR: Telangana coming in June

Is this a damage control measure by KCR after the internal politics in TRS came to light with MLC Polls? Is Telangana state to form in the month of June? Will TRS merge in Congress before Telangana formation? These are the harsh speculations running wild in AP political circles from today morning.

KCR is known to have brought up a new angle in T-issue during the meet with 30 MSOs yesterday. ‘Sonia Gandhi is ready to give Telangana but only on the prior condition that TRS needs to be merged into Congress two months before announcement of separate state. What shall I do? Should I allow this to happen? I am here to collect your opinions before taking a final decision,’ said KCR as per a media report. A secret meeting in this regard has already been convened between KCR, Sonia Gandhi and KCR, Pranab Mukherhee discussing guidelines on how to take the deal forward.

If this happens to be true, then no longer TRS will be able to keep its identity as KCR will also become a member of Congress party. While TRS leaders Harish Rao, Etela and Nayani called this merger news as fake, it is to be seen how T-Congress leaders react on this sensational merger.
