March will be successful despite govts' obstacles: Etela

Telangana Rashtra Samiti Assembly Floor Leader Etela Rajender on Wednesday expressed confidence that the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee will make the Million March a grand success on March 10 despite the state government making efforts to play spoilsport.

Talking to media persons at Assembly Media Point, the TRS Floor Leader alleged that the government was provoking the Telangana leaders despite the TPJAC repeatedly clarifying that the Million March would be peaceful and not inconvenience anybody.

“The government is resorting to forcible arrests and stopping vehicles by establishing check posts in the Telangana region. However, these attempts of illegal obstructions will not affect the determination of Telangana leaders. On the contrary, the intensity of the agitation will increase in the coming days,” Mr Rajender stated.   

He asked all party leaders to meet Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy and ask her to stop the illegal arrests of student leaders.

Mr Rajender stated that the government should be held responsible for any untoward incidents and should brace itself for the repercussions if the student leaders are not released.
