Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday praised the film `Jai Bolo Telangana’, which was released across the globe in 170 theatres, as `marvelous’ and `excellent.’
Talking to media persons after viewing the film along with Telangana Praja Front president and Balladeer Gaddar in Sudarshan theatre at RTC cross roads, the TRS chief lauded the film director N Shankar for portraying the film in a good manner and fulfilling the aspirations of Telangana people.
He called upon all Telangana people to watch the film and said the film would definitely help for strengthening the agitation for Telangana state.
KCR asked the director to make efforts for releasing the Hindi version of the film soon, as lot of Telangana people are residing in Hindi belt.
The film stars Jagapati Babu, Smriti Irani along with politician K Chandrasekhar and Balladeer Gaddar, who has sung one song in the movie.
Meanwhile, Advocates Joint Action Committee convener P Rangareddy on Friday stated the film has highlighted the 54 year long struggle for Telangana state.
Talking to media after seeing the film in IMAX theatre at Necklace Road on Friday, he said the Director N Shankar picturised the film in a well manner without hurting the sentiments of people.
“If any Seemandhra leader sees this film, he would be ready to sacrifice Telangana for the people,” he said.
He also offered to give tickets free of cost to Seemandra leaders, particularly to Lagadapati Rajagopal, who is fighting for integration of state, to see the film.
