Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will participate in the Racha Banda programme on Thursday at Supriyenpet in West Godavari district after meeting the officials and non-officials at Chintalapudi in the morning.
He will visit stalls and address a public meeting and distribute assets at Chintalapudi Junior College Grounds.
The Chief Minister later will attend the Racha Banda programme in Madaka Village, Pedana Mandal, Krishna district and address a public meeting at Agricultural Market Committee Grounds, Pedana. Racha Banda Programme was held at 1626 places throughout the State today ----the seventh day: Andhra--658 places, Rayalaseema 310 places, Telangana--658 places.
There were reports of minor disruptions at few places in Telangana only. Many beneficiaries received assets and other benefits at different places in the State today.
Already Racha Banda programme has covered 11,378 villages/gram panchayats -- Andhra--4,581; Rayalaseema--2,199 and Telangana--4,598. There were minor disruptions in a total of 93 places in Telangana. RACHA BANDA : Status of Benefits delivered : Cumulative as on 1-2-2011: Number of temporary Ration cards issued - 1,98,765. Number of Pensions sanctioned - 61,284. Number of women covered (sanctioned) under Abhayahastham - 1,39,339.
Number of beneficiaries to whom sanction letters issued under Housing - 1,04,701. Number of beneficiaries to whom patta/possession certificates issued (Housing) - 64,496. Number of Arogya Sri cards issued - 1,31,148. Number of Job cards issued afresh under MGNREGS - 91,501.
Number of SHGs payment is made during Racha Banda under Pavala Vaddi (Rural) - 2,09,882. Amount disbursed till now – Rs 116.29 crore. Number of SHGs payment is made during Racha Banda under Pavala Vaddi (Urban) - 48,006. Amount disbursed till now – Rs 22.19 crore.
