Govt playing with students' sentiments: TDP

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on Wednesday demanded that the state government to initiate steps to immediately release fee reimbursement arrears for students.

Addressing a press conference, TDP general secretary Varla Ramaiah alleged that the Kiran Kumar Reddy government was not being concerned about the students’ issues; even while claimed to be aware of their problems.

“Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy does not appear to be concern with regard to the students fees reimbursement issues. Despite Supreme Court directive the students yet to get the fee reimbursement,’’ pointed out Mr Ramaiah.

The TDP leader also stated that the government, instead of frequently issuing new and new schemes, should concentrate on fulfilling the promises it had made. 

Mr Ramaiah vowed to press the government on the issue till students get justice.
