Congress Leader N Tulasi Reddy on Wednesday stated there was no threat to the Kiran Kumar Reddy government in the state.

Talking to media persons, Mr Tulasi Reddy said if anybody has any doubt over the survival of Kiran Kumar Reddy government, they can introduce a no confidence motion in the Assembly.

He expressed confidence that the government would continue its term up to 2014.

Mr Tulasi Reddy’s statement assumes importance in the wake of Kadapa leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s loyalists demanding introduction of no confidence motion against the government.

The senior Congress Leader said that the former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy came to power for the second time using the Congress party and Sonia Gandhi image only and not due to his strategy.

“If there is no Congress party, there will be no leader elected from the state,” he stated.

People voted for the party on seeing the Congress party symbol `Hand’ and its policies and schemes, Mr Tulasi Reddy pointed out.
