Speaking to media persons from inside his car on the Secretariat premises on Tuesday as he was about to leave after his official press conference, the Minister however said that he remained steadfast and reiterated his resolve to face any eventuality whatsoever to get at the truth while fighting for justice.

The Minister, as an MLA, had moved the High Court in the form of a letter in October 2010, alleging misappropriation by Mr Jaganmohan Reddy using his father, YS Rajasekhara Reddy's position as chief minister since 2004.

The Minister revealed that he has decided to take this 'threat' to the notice of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

He also declared that he is determined to fight out till the last to unearth the facts in the larger interests of the people and the party.

"I am not afraid of anybody. I will fight against corruption," said Dr Shankar Rao.

He also revealed that the call was made by someone who could not be identified by him. Dr Shankar Rao is believed to have replied in the language the caller chose to speak.

When the call materialised, the Minister could not make out initially the source or message of the

call as he was preoccupied, but later on he got the hint that it was a threatening call intended to

apply 'pressure' on him, Dr Shankar Rao revealed.
