Congress Mlcs K Janardhan Reddy and Rudraraju Padmaraju on Tuesday condemned the foul language which was allegedly used by Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao against Congress leaders during his address at a meeting held at Sadashivpeta meeting on Monday.

Releasing a letter to media persons at CLP Office, the MLCs termed KCR’s language as `unethical’ and unwarranted.

They alleged the KCR’s foul language was spreading confusion, rousing emotions and passion and was spreading misconceptions on Telangana statehood issue.

The MLCs added that when Sangareddy MLA T Jayaprakash Reddy raised his voice against KCR’s attitude, the TRS leader provoked his supports and party activists to resort to attacks against the MLA.

Taking offense at KCR’s statement that ‘Congress leaders are haggling for posts and contracts’, the MLCs said that the TRS chief was speaking out whatever has come to his mind without even thinking of his own party’s stand.

They reminded that In the name of Telangana agitation, KCR made Harish Rao a Minister when he had not even contested for the Assembly seat, dragged his son K Taraka Rama Rao into politics by making him leave his studies in the USA midway and launched the Telangana Jagruti so that his daughter Kavita has a platform to build her political base.

The MLCs further charged KCR of threatening industrialists and entrepreneurs at a meeting convened to discuss and possible build a suitable atmosphere for establishment of industrial units.

Apart from this, KCR has provoked students to commit suicides for the cause of Telangana and by launching agitations especially when examinations were around the corner, spoiled their career, the MLCs charged.

They criticized the TRS chief’s statement that Singur project was only supplying water to Hyderabad, thereby neglecting the interests of Medak people and Telangana. Making note of these words, the MLCs said that perhaps KCR had forgotten that Hyderabad is part of Telangana and the water is not being supplied to Seemandhra regions.

The MLCs charged that KCR has taken to making baseless allegations against everyone who does not agree with him, even against leaders who have got nothing to do with Telangana.

The MLCs said that taking all the ‘antics’ of KCR in consideration, the question of any rapid development could take place in Telangana after it becomes a separate state, has become clouded.
