Telugu Desam official spokesman Byreddy Rajasekhara Reddy on Monday stated that former Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy was not a right person to fight for Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal verdict on sharing of river waters in New Delhi.
Talking to media persons at the NTR Trust Bhavan, Mr Byreddy said the farmers in Krishna Delta were suffering problems due to former chief minister Y S Rajasekhra Reddy’s mistakes and faulty programmes.
As a son of former chief minister YSR, Mr Jaganmohan Reddy was not eligible to fight on farmers’ problems and water sharing issues, he pointed out.
The TDP spokesperson alleged that the administration and progress of the state in the state had collapsed due to faulty policies and schemes adopted by former chief minister YSR.
He dared Jaganmohan Reddy to come for discussion on this issue anytime and at any place.
Mr Byreddy alleged that YSR had not deputed efficient advocates to represent the state interests on Krishna Water tribunal.
He recalled the strong objection of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and Mr Janardhan Reddy over the choice of lawyers who were picked to represent the state before the Krishna Water Dispute Tribunal.
