Srikrishna reflected Chiru's stand!

Hailing the recommendations offered in the Justice B N Srikrishna Committee Report, Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi on Friday appealed to all sections of people and leaders to observe restraint until the Centre takes a final decision on the issue of bifurcation of state. Mr Chiranjeevi said that the party’s stand on the contentious issue of the bifurcation of the state have been reflected in the Panel Report. 

Talking to media persons after emerging out of party executive meeting held to discuss the recommendations of Justice B N Srikrishna Committee at its office in Jubilee Hills, the PRP chief said the recommendations given by the Panel are impartial and transparent. He once again stressed the importance of united Andhra Pradesh and said that the integrated state will protect the interests of its citizens than a bifurcated one.

Stating that the Panel recommendations were fair, Mr Chiranjeevi said the party MLAs hailed them and stand by them. Reacting on some parties opposing the Panel’s recommendations and terming them as unworthy, the PRP chief said one should look at the options given to the Centre in an open manner and with a broader outlook.

He also condemned the attack on party MLA Anil by pro-Telangana activists at the Maha Dharna at Indira Park called by political Joint Action Committee. Mr Chiranjeevi asked all parties to observe restraint and should not resort to violence creating law and order problem.
