Srikrishna Report submitted to Home Minister Chidambaram

The most awaited verdict on Telangana, Justice Srikrishna Committee report is submitted few minutes ago to Home Minister Chidambaram. Report is bounded up in two heavy volumes of 600 pages which mentioned a clear way to go forward on the issue of Telangana after thorough work of ten months.

Accordingly Chidambaram spoke to media and invited all the eight recognized political parties of Andhra Pradesh for a meet on January 6 to make the report public. Then on Central Govt. will start the measures to implement the recommendations of the report and report will be made public even on web.

With entire Andhra Pradesh surrounded by 1000’s of paramilitary forces, it is alleged that report does not recommend whether to go with a new state or not, instead proposes the pros and cons of different options available before the centre and it is state along with centre that will work on a strategy for better future of state.
